Well the time has come for this semester to end, and although I am happy that this is one semester down, I am not happy to be leaving this class. I have truly enjoyed all the time that I spent in this classroom. From all my classmate's being kind, to you, Natasha, who was always willing to help, and always knew how to make the class fun and how to actually have a point to each lesson. With the time we had to do our essays and reviews, it was much easier to stay calm and attempt to get a better grade without stressing. I came into this class expecting it to be endless amount of pointless writing that would show me nothing that I need. But it was the complete opposite, it showed me exactly what I do need.
I learned that to wright about something you need to put everything you have into it, you need to believe yourself an go from that. I also learned how to use numerous forms of writings to make my point about something, or to show how I felt about something in my own perspective. I feel that I am now a more educated writer after taking this course, and that it has set me up for success in my future English classes. I wouldn't recommend that you do anything different as a professor. I think you do everything right, you know what gets the students talking and what interests them. Your blogs, and essays always revolve around us as students and something that truly either means something to us, or is making a difference.
The expectations I had for myself, as well as for you as my teacher, were over achieved. I learned far more then I thought I would in my first college English class, and was able to retain a lot of useful information for the future. As far as you, as my professor go, you passed my expectations. The first day I thought you were going to be extremely mean and that this class was going to be horrifying, but that quickly changed. I think it is safe to say that throughout all my years of school, you have been my favorite English teacher.
