Would You Abandon Your Child?

   The idea of a mother killing her newly born son, or old son, is sickening to me. I just don't understand how you can kill something that is yours just like that. There has to be something wrong in that girl from the videos brain, nobody in their right mind can kill there baby in a dumpster and stuff them in a gym bag. Although I don't believe that Safe Havens Law in States, which I didn't know existed, are a great concept. Simply due to the fact that they give those irresponsible mothers a means of disposing there children, "the right way". There is no way to get rid of your child, "the right way", you had it, now deal with it. Many people probably do kill there children, hundreds of thousand of people, and nobody will ever know how many do. One reason may be due to the fact that they are unaware of the Safe Haven Law, although it is not likely. Speaking for myself I had no idea about these laws, or how they work in Florida. I do think that a possible reason they do not have so much attention to them is because they would, without a doubt, have an overcrowded line of mothers waiting in line just to give their kids away. With this line, people would quickly find out all about this law, if they didn't know about it before, and start a boycott the size of the Martin Luther King Jr March back in the day. I can bet money that at least 3/4 of the mothers in that line would have a smile from ear to ear, just knowing that their problems are going to all fade away at the simple end of the line they are in. I think that if you honestly could not take care of your child, that you decided to have either knowing or unknowingly, the best way to go is adoption rather then abortion, murder, or even this Safe Haven Law. This is a way different form of giving your child away, then giving it to the State. With an adoption the mothers are getting rid of their problems but are helping others at the same time. There are thousands, maybe millions, of adults out there that are unable to have children so they try to adopt a child. At least here, the horrible concept of giving your child away, although I am sure these mothers don't care, would go to the good for someone else. These Safe Havens are in my opinion a good final option to have for some mothers, I just don't think it would ever be my option. What these mother's really need to learn how to do is get some birth control and use a condom.
